Where It Started
May and Ray started 1001Canvas in Colorado in 2024. It began as a side project. Their starting point was an everyday observation: people spend a lot of time on screens, and very little of that time is creative. A paint by numbers kit offered a calmer way to spend an evening, one that ends with a finished picture. The project eventually became the business, with a single aim of making art that doesn’t require any training.

What’s in the Kit
